Call the MD and get appointments that work for you, either first thing in the AM or last appointment of the day. You need to be with him at the appointments, because he will not remember important details.

There are lots of services that can help you. I have a service set up for my folks that will do whatever is needed in a crisis or long term in home help as my folks become unable to care for themselves.

They do lots of driving, shopping and errands for elders and also drive them to, and accompany them to doctor appointments and can report medical info back to you.

Go on line and research your area. Look for legitimate business that are insured and do background and drug screening for employees. And I fell it's important that they have some qualified medical folks, RNs etc, supervising. Some outfits are little more than cleaning ladies who are branching out into home care.

Depending on the level of care and services you'll see the costs in the $18 to $25 dollar per hour range.
