siblings dont care for mom , so each time shes had surgery she is brought to me , iam tired of siblings dumping her here and they never call so this time i wanted to keep mom here where she recovers well , she has little dementia , and we went to s s office to change her address and get me on payee for her cause she is ill and cannot hear , so she told them no she will not sighn no papers , so the doctors are going to fill out a form to see if she is capable of doing for herself , which i know she cant, so i wanted to know should i keep my mom cause i love her and care for her alot or do i let her go , she does not care for me , she cares for the ones who take her money and do nothing for her , help me , where to go from here she can be mean to me and not to the others siblings who dont care for her at all , i would like to have the rights to her where no one can take her money from her i worry about her when she is gone to another place where there are drunks and druggies not watching her , or feeding her that is how she broke her hip fell no one was there to feed and watch her but my dad and i want her here but she does n

your mom sounds like mine. She has dementia, it has gotten worse since my father has been in and out of the hosp. My sister is her main care taker and she is MEAN to her. She says hateful things & gives dirty looks, leaves the room. She gets mean w/the rest of us too but she really takes it out on my sister. I bet your mom is nice to strangers. That's what her other kids probably seem to her since they're not around. Our reasoning is we think she resents the fact of being taken care of. She's even jealous acting at times. But I think your mom knows she needs you and hates the fact of it.

How old is your mom? do you have power of attorney? how old are you? do you have children of your own?
