Find Care & Housing
your mom sounds like mine. She has dementia, it has gotten worse since my father has been in and out of the hosp. My sister is her main care taker and she is MEAN to her. She says hateful things & gives dirty looks, leaves the room. She gets mean w/the rest of us too but she really takes it out on my sister. I bet your mom is nice to strangers. That's what her other kids probably seem to her since they're not around. Our reasoning is we think she resents the fact of being taken care of. She's even jealous acting at times. But I think your mom knows she needs you and hates the fact of it.
