You've tried explaining to cousin just that - that End of Life Care is coming and you want your mother to have adequate coverage? Who has POA?

Remind her that no one knows what to expect at end of life beyond the fact that that's exactly what happens. We don't know what illnesses and challenges we'll face, and it's sooooo much better to be prepared.
