Taking Dad to a memory care respite place. How do I tell him?

I will be taking my dad first time to a respite place. We will be touring it Friday. I am self employed and have a large project to do for a client. No alternative for care and huge liability issue to bring dad along as he could not leave my vehicle! Best way to approach this as he had very short term memory especially visiting places and moderate dementia.

Tell him it is a vacation, like a cruise. A resort, with 3 meals a day and activities. Make it sound fun. Be sure you play it up. He may even like the place. Our mom decided it was way better than being alone in her house.
