We also go places where he is with guy friends and I am with women. I just like the professional way they care for his feet while I don't care to do that. Plus I can't do it as well as they do.He does talk with buddies. It is just when you are on oxygen we don't feel like getting to those places as often as we would like,.

Don't worry about that one comment on the other thread you started. Do whatever is right for you and your husband. If the pedicures work for you two, then great, you're doing the right thing!

He's on oxygen, is he? That's tough. You sound like you are doing the right kind of thing. It's good to get someone else to do the care you don't like. As his wife, you have more than enough to do without looking at his nasty toenails. LOL.

Does your husband like to get a pedicure with you? If he does, end of discussion. If he objects, then use a podiatrist. Pretty simple decision, it seems to me.

Medicare covers a visit to the Podiatrist every three months and they do an excellent job and take care of things other than prettying up your feet.

Makes sense to me to get someone professional to do it for him. Good foot care is important.
