On Medicaid, turning 65. What do I have to do to switch to Medicare?

The site is presently having problems. There have been a lot of gremlins online today. I don't know what is going on. eBay went down for several hours and part of USPS went down. PayPal has been having problems. And now the Medicare site?? Maybe we should just all turn off our computers today. :-O

3 months before you turn 65 you need to sign up for Medicare. During that time you will make your selections about what you want. You have to be careful here to make sure you select exactly what you'll need in the future. If you add something, such as Part D, later, you'll have to pay higher premiums for it. You can learn about what to do at www.Medicare.gov.
