How to get a stubborn parent to bathe?

My mom who is very narcissistic and prides herself on her appearance refuses to bathe on a regular schedule. I do not think she has been cleaned since last Monday. It is very distressing to me as she does need it and it is hard to be in the room with her for any length of time. I have offered to assist as I did before, and she just gets offended. She only trusts 2 aides in the facility to help her and they do not always work in her unit.
Any suggestions.? I have even tried this from a "staying cleaner will aid in healing faster" her radiation therapy is strictly palliative, no one sees her actually going home again.
