How do I get staff make sure Mom is within reach of her call button? They repeatedly leave her where she cannot reach it after many complaints.

Last night she got her hand caught in the wheelchair spokes and was not near enough to call for help. An aide found her when she entered the room to tend to Mom's roommate. Her hand is badly bruised and they are taking x-rays to see if there is other damage. When I back off a little and do not visit so much, there is always a new issue.

My mother in laws call button is around her neck. She can put it under her blouse, but she always has it on. I would see if the home where your mother is has the newer call buttons. My Mother in Law had to pay for it.
