Any ideas on social stimulation for elderly uncle?

My aunt recently had a stroke but is home now with some outside help. My uncle is 95 and has the early signs of dementia but is a very social person and desperately needs some social stimulation. I have 2 problems- finding an adult day care near their home and getting him transported to and from a program. I’ve searched for both senior centers and adult day care but there is nothing really near by. I get over there once a week but he definitely needs more interaction than that. Any ideas?

I would check to see if your county or a local church or other religious organization has a friendly visitor program.

Are you in the US? Every county here has an Area Agency in aging. Have you looked at the county website?

My Moms daycare transported her to and from.
