Sniffing. Has anyone else seen this in LBD person?

I know this is insignificant among so many things to deal with but my mother (LBD) has started sniffing every time she eats. It is constant and annoying. Only happens when she eats. No cold or anything medical that I can tell. Has anyone else seen this in LBD person?

Do you mean the person gets a runny nose when eating? I am familiar with that. Tell the doctor. You may end up with a nasal spray to use before eating. Or is the person trying to smell the food due to a diminished sense of smell? If that seems to be the case try to Google smell training. In the land of Covid this has been more coverage.
