She already gets social security, but I have a limited pay job, she needs my help at home and can't drive so I am limited as to the type of job I can get and the distance I can travel for work.

This is state by state, community by community issue. (Wish I could give exact) try doing an online search. Exactly what kind of financial aid are you needing? rent? food? Utility assistance, I discovered breaking it down into smaller pieces (especially when your trying to find info online) works best. Be sure to list your city, state and county. Also you should never have to pay a fee for someone to sign you up or look it up for you! Remember if it's too good to be true it probably is a scam! I would also do some research on any group/ nonprofit organization. They are possibly going to ask for some personal information be careful.
