jc, could you give us more information. What is the medical condition of the parent that the sibling want Guardianship and why does that sibling want it? How would the sibling get any type of financial gain by going this route? Is the spouse in good health and clear mind? Is the sibling that is living with the parents the same person who wants to get Guardianship?

From jc45liberty. The parent living with a sibling is Dad. He has ongoing dementia. Our mother has all clear faculties and his able to make all decisions for 80 yr old Dad. The sibling living with mom and dad has always been in the home with them since childhood. The sibling who has taken him has done so for financial gain along with her unemployed husband. Dad was taken during a hospital stay with no consent from mom or the sibling who lives with mom and dad. Since then with a FAKE POA this sibling has moved bank accounts, annuities, insurances and other finances around in the favor of her and her thieving husband.
