When you realize that sibling has lied and is trying to get parents money what do you really do?

Just found out that sibling applied for representation of social security. I have poa. What good is it if this can be done. Trying to keep parents in home with 24/7 care. Now someone else has money. Our eldercare lawyer suggested I apply for guardianship. More money!!!!! social security doesn't recognize poa

Maybe try to talk to your sister and see if you and she decide something for the best interest of your parents.

Listen to your lawyer, the advice is absolutely correct. If sibling is using the money improperly, ask the DA to press charges.
