For the past 5 years every week I gets Mom's grocery list and head to the store. I am not in the best of health, this has become very tiring for me. Since my parents cannot get to the grocery store themselves there seem to be no option.
Well, yesterday I found a new option. Took Mom's grocery list and went grocery shopping on-line in the comfort of my own home. Then I could set a time where I would be able to pull up to the front of the store [curb-side service] and the attendant would get the order from a refrigerated/freezer compartments located in front of the building, and place Mom's order in my vehicle.
Since this was the first time doing this, Dad wanted to ride along with me to see how it worked. I had to laugh.... Dad said "this is the first time I've been grocery shopping and hadn't needed to unbuckle my seat-belt". It worked out great. After we got home Mom was pleased with the items, including the produce, and deli ham order.
What is great is that the website saved Mom's order, making it easy to re-shop next week. And this curb-side service is free. The grocery store also has at home delivery but there is a delivery charge. What a time saver and stress saver. Anyone else use this service?
