My sister grabbed pow..sense she took all moms property for self and items I.put in moms house such as a portable building my 13 ye old step daughter got killed..with her insurance money we bought it to store her things we couldn't part with..and all in it..also she spends every dime on.self..she gambles and moms bank.stays over.drawn with fees. 900.00 last month..mom lives with her..if I complain I loose my visits and my sister says very mean things to me like my mom didn't like me and I was so close to my momma..my moms house was foreclosed and her car went for report last year..that's the 2nd car sister put for repo..my mom makes very good money ..my Mon lives with her and she keeps her in bed all but from 6 p.m. till 10. My mom wants to go places with her other kids but sister wont let her..I feel so sad and depressed for.my mom..my sister controls her every move and my mom was so kind and such a giver.to all her kids..my sister pays some to a c.n.a however we are all wanting and.skilled to care for mom..she.plays scratch offs into the thousands and moms account is over drawn..she got a dnr and none.of the siblings were asked..she makes me feel powerless as she knows I have no money for attorneys and if I.tell ill never see mom again..I think somehow my mom should have a say..she only has memory loss at my sisters discretion ..shell say momma said so but then on the other hand shell say moms memory is gone..she uses that to best suit her. Most items in mommas house were what I put there and she took them all...there has got to be relief for my mom..my mom.would never approve of how she is treating her kids..my moms asked many times to remove her.from power of attorney but we feel we have no rights..please help my momma..

Oh dear God Maggie Marshall..I could.tell things for hours upon.hours..I never knew I could call anyone for help..thank you.for some hope..it's been going on for two years..I have so many witnesses who are scared.to loose being able to see mom if they go against my sister..I can't see her now but its over an arguement me and my sister had as she involves my children in things I don't approve if and sense I say I.don't like other things I loose..I also.questioned her gambling and moms overdrawn account..I bought her.diapers as mom.was broke..with only her own funeral bill left to pay Mom.should have money ..my moms bill should be well paid as she makes so much but my sister don't make it priority..my sister paid my nephews rent with moms.money.for about 18 months..

Thank you..I feel so sad as my mom.would never do the things my sister does ..my two other siblings were refused moms bank.statements and not allowed to see her..she tried to put me on a restrained order from my.mom but the judge wouldn't let her..so my sister took her out of rehab and put her in her home so I can't see her..I'm all of.100 lbs and helpless..me and my sister have.fought badly as I begged to see my mom but I am never abusive or violent..I yell back at her but.she.threatens to beat me up..its all.so insane..really my sister has.many mental problems and has no biz representative to my mom..but I don't know.if I can proove that ..I think she.needs a psych evaluation..she has a eating problem as well and buys an abundance.of.food along with gambling..she used.to drink badly but quit for health...my mom crystal as she.don't.want her to do as she.does and don't want to live.there...mom lays all day now and is getting so painfully.stiff...it's been so hard.to think all this is.legal and I'm at her murcey to see my mom..

Call her local police department and ask for the phone number to report elder abuse. Once you've clearly explained the situation, I'm thinking they'll open up a case file on your mom and do an investigation.

If what you say is true, your mom will be removed from her care.

I wish you good luck.

Call Adult Protective Services. If Mom can be considered competent, even in the minute, she can change her POA's. Tell APS everything you know, including details of the dementia as this will impact what they are able to do.
