My husband's a veteran whose health makes it impossible for him to stay alone while I work. Is there a program that can help?

He is unable to walk or to stand to move from the bed to the wheelchair without help. He has to have help eating, bathing, so forth. Is there a plan that covers someone to come and help us?

Veterans Aid and Attendence. There is asset limitations, but nothing as near as MEDICAID.
