Not knowing what kind of care is needed, I can only relate what a 24 day was for me when Mother lived with us. There is no way to "Prepare". The 24 hours will seem endless, just try to rest and take a quick nap while your person is sleeping during the day and at night. Good luck. Get plenty of rest before time!!
