How old is this person?
Does he have dementia?
Is he taking any kind of stool softener?
Is he in incontinence briefs overnight? Have you placed a disposable pad under him each night so the linens aren't getting soiled?
If you could elaborate a little more it might help get you some more detailed answers.

yes he has dementia and is in incontinence briefs all the time, he is 58 and had 3 strokes that has caused the dementia, I do use disposable pads they just aren't big enough.
