So I had a full time job and still on probationary period my father is now disabled due to a stroke and heart attack I had my girlfriend watching him a taking him to his appointments unfortunately she is not as responsible as I am so my father missed his appointment twice with a Dr.they are now charging me $100.00 for no show since then I have had to quit my job to take care of him myself needless to say he has not missed any appointment I have no money to pay for these charges even if I did it doesn't seem right to have to pay a rediculouse fee for no show wen physicians are often no shows themselves and are often backed up patients are not seen at the appointment time scheduled so why shouldn't we charge for every minute or hour that the physician goes over appointment time I've arrived to work late because of appointment have gone over due to physician being backed up sorry anyway my question is how do I fight having to pay for now show fee
And those times when you have to sit and wait and wait and wait to be seen by the doctor, he/she is usually backed up because there was an emergency that needed to be attended. Just think if it was your Dad that the doctor squeezed in time to see, thus backing up everyone else in the waiting room.
