I can't take it anymore, there is no help available for this! I know that it is their disease that is making them say and do hurtful things. But it still hurts. There is no respite care where we live. There are no services or support groups. I don't know where to turn to

they are financially dependent on me, which is a switch for them and contributes to their anger.

Ready or not a nursing home may be the only option if you are no longer able to provide care. As you realize the use of hurtfull language is part of the disease and is unlikely to change. Are you in any way dependent financially on your parents? I would start by having a frank discussion with their Dr and ask him/her to direct you towards further action.

I live in northern Canada. they live with my husband and I and "aren't ready" for a nursing home. We live in a small community and there are no resources. Closest city is 500 miles away.
