We are trying to get help for Mom to come in (nurse, pt, ot and whatever else is needed). They have people sign their name on the nurses' (pt, ot) cell phone. There is absolutely no copy given. I am wondering what could be on their documentation that I will never know about because I never received a hard copy of the transaction. Anyone else have any experience such as this? One would not know if there was a clause accessing finances or anything else. I think it is highly reasonable to have a copy of the paper work when you have a contract with someone for services. Should I call the lawyer? We do have one.

Have that message forwarded to your cell phone or email so you can read it and print it. A reputable firm will give you hard copy.

Have you asked them if they provide hard copies? In this day and age, to save paper, many companies do everything electronically and it's up to you to do the printing. If you suspect something underhanded then by all means investigate and ask questions. If you don't the answers you deserve that's when I'd go to a lawyer. But first find how this companies procedures before you pay a lawyer. Your mom is lucky to have you looking out for her.

I had the same experience. It was free for mother and were extremely professional. I thought it was odd myself.
