Are there any suggested orthopedic aids available to help her one leg that is gimpy?

My mother has a fractured leg which is not healing. This will render her unable to move around and she's completely alert and frankly totally with it at 90. She is in a continuing care facility.

What are the issues preventing healing? I would address that first as there may be more options that are pursued now. Did she have rehab, and if so, how did that proceed? Were there issues then?
