Find Care & Housing
I suppose it depends on what is wrong with the individual, how likely therapy is to help. and what is more important to the individual. But if a woman needs them both, why not have both?

After a head injury my husband had speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. I was told by one of the staff that they firmly believed all of them did good, but the only one that had empirical evidence to back that claim was speech therapy. I was surprised -- that isn't what I would have guessed.

I have had physical therapy a couple of times, for different needs. Speech therapy wouldn't have helped at all in those cases!

Depends on what is wrong.
