My mother is disabled and a senior citizen. She cannot cook at all any longer, handle her medical appointments, schedule perscription refills, cleaning chores at times.
Check with your State Medicaid office to see what programs are available, and if your Mom can qualify for Medicaid. Chances are since your Mom is at the point where she cannot care for herself, Medicaid might suggest a nursing home facility, which Medicaid will help pay for your Mom's care.
Otherwise, financial aid is far and few between.
