My mom is only 57 y/o, has RA, hypothyroidism, osteoporosis - but has been showing some symptoms, like forgetfulness, mood shifts, disorientation, balance issues, repeating stories, no appetite, blood pressure getting low day after day, is anemic (they don't know why ) and many others. Neurologist made a brief memory test on her, she could answer correct just her kids names and then dr. asked me to write down her symptoms and come back in two months. Isn't that too long?

When my mom was first seeing her neurologist for dementia/alzheimers, they also asked her to come back in a few months and still to this day she goes back for visits about every 3 months.
