In my experience, small pharmacies will literally "rape" you. Since 2004, I've been using a pharmacy that delivers to my home -- or wherever I happen to be --; has a huge stock, accepts Medicaid/Medicare and many other plans, no co-payments, and coordinates with my doctor(s) when refills are due. I don't see the Rx; it's faxed to the pharmacy.

I suggest you choose one of those mail-order "warehouse" pharmacies that have any med you could possibly need and that also deliver to your door if you happen to live within a reasonable distance.

I have found that Walmart has the best generic program and believe that Target is similarand probably some of the other big pharmacy chains. I have found the mail order pharmacies are more expensive but convenient if you are housebound
