Find Care & Housing
Renee, this is a group of caregivers that take care of their loved ones. Not provide services.

Have you checked into community service organizations in your area? I would check with the local counsel on aging and go from there. Catholic charities and Jewish family services can probably help or direct you to volunteer services.

Have you checked into a pharmacy that delivers and home delivery for groceries?

You can hire an aid through an agency that can take mom.

Providers aren't a part of the forum, Renee. Some folks who live near you might have suggestions they have used, though, so it is great you wrote down your town.
Check absolutely everywhere you can. If you have access to small community papers sometimes people will advertise such a service; there is one in my city who provides service by the hour for appointments and shopping, thought it certainly is not inexpensive.
Check bulletin boards everywhere you go. Check with local church groups. Check any Senior Citizen centers you can find. Talk to everyone you can everywhere you can think of. I found out about someone in my brother's local Park who provided a great car service quite inexpensively and it was just word of mouth. If you know of any caregiver support groups sometimes they have some information.
Wishing you luck on your search.

Hi, I was at Wal-Mart yesterday & a lady in a scooter told me that someone at her church brought her to the store & picks her up. I'm sure you'd have to be a member though. Otherwise, the communities here each have their own 'senior citizens van service' for errands or appointments. There's a donation of $3, & rules to follow, (plus you have to be able to get into the van by yourself). Call the senior center, in town she lives in, to learn more.
