This is common with Alzheimer's sufferers. Now that your mom has begun to roam after dark, it will become necessary for you to get help from other family members or other reliable sources.

Baby, you can't do it all during the day and be alert at night; let alone expect to get a good night's sleep every now and then. It's impossible.

Start asking for help. ... Do it now.
