My mom refuses to take medication. She is confused, started wandering, and is very difficult to deal with. What now?

Has she seen a doctor lately? Her doctor should know about any change in conditions. Has she been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s? Uti symptoms can cause confusion and come on rapidly. I was finally able to get my father to a neurologist and he was diagnosed with vascular dementia. It’s been slow and progressive. Not sure how fast the other dementias progress but I’m sure others can offer some advice.
