I just got Medicare. They take out $134.00 on my monthly check of $529.00 My husband social security is $1,395.00 but they only take $105.00. Why do they take more from me? We have no other income.

From Medicare.gov: The standard Part B premium amount is $134 (or higher depending on your income). However, most people who get Social Security benefits will pay less than this amount ($109 on average).
I've found that the Medicare hotline representatives are able to answer my questions.  You might call 800-Medicare for specifics for your family.
