Keeping him home, I need special care givers, which are very expensive I can’t afford!. Please advise ke what to do!🙆‍♀️

If you see him regularly, wash his clothes thats what I fid for my Mom. Has it been arranged that tge facility is to transport him to appts? You can transferbhim to another facility.

Maybe he needs to change to a different facility. Also there are locations where a physician service comes to him for general medical care

Look for another facility. If your husband is a retired surgeon, you probably have better savings than most seniors, for a higher-quality facility. Can you talk with some of his former colleagues for recommendations?

Why are they missing the medical appointments? Is the staff making the appointments and then ignoring them, or do you make the appointments?

How old is he? How long has he been there? What are his limitations? My mom complains about the food, says her clothes are lost and complains about the noise in her facility. Sometimes old people like to complain. It fills the hours. If you really feel this place is subpar, find another one and have him moved. My mom is in an excellent one, but the complaints from her continue.

You always have the option to do his laundry. Issues with laundry in managed care are common. You should meet with the administrator to voice your concerns, if that doesn’t result in you being more pleased, you always have the option to move him to another place
