You are the Power of Attorney. If you are you keep the checks and pay for the monthly services offered to your husband.

I hope you have durable and medical POA. I would use the durable POA to put whatever checks he gets on auto deposit if possible. How will these nursing home bills be paid? Does he have long term care insurance or a whole lot of liquid financial assets?
