If he is considered to be of sound mind, likely this could happen. But I'd have him evaluated by an independent physician. This agressive behavior may have a cause that can be treated.

Yes, your father can be kicked out of his facility, and maybe even arrested if the CNA chooses to file criminal charges. Why not try and replace his CNA?
Also, have him evaluated. His aggression may be more than it appears to be.

I agree that you should have your father evaluated. Preferably by a geriatric pyschiatrist. The nursing home has a legal and ethical obligation to protect staff and patients, so yes they can remove someone who is posing a threat to safety, if reasonalbe accomodations cannot reasonably mitigate the safety threat.

I also agree there may be more to this. I would also discuss this matter again with the nursing home and your father. Why doesn't your father like the CNA? Is this nursing home listening to his/your concerns? Is it the best placement for your father?

One more question: does your father require an electric wheelchair, or can he use a more traditional wheelchair?

good luck
