I have no money for in-home help. My health is tottering, and mother has dementia. She has always been verbally abusive and will not cooperate. I want out. What can I do?

Do you have medical and durable POA for her?
Does she have any money or does she quallify for medicaide?
What kind of additional health concerns does your mother have?
Has her doctor evaluated her demintia recently and what does he suggest about her future care?
Possibly, you could contact social services; tell them your situation; and ask if they have any solutions.
