My mother has been having visions and burning arms when she wakes up in the morning. She calls life alert at least once or twice a week and they take her to the hospital by ambulance. She won't leave her home to go to assisted living either! What can we do? Even with power of attorney we can't force her.
Have you ever tried talking to the social services department at the hospital about the fact that she's having delusions and needs a higher level of care?
