Steroids usually make me tired (you’d think they’d do the opposite) and starving! Not a “I guess I could eat” but stomach growling every 2 hours.

Steroids are notorious for causing all sorts of mental changes, often agitation. Research side effects on google and report to the doctor the changes you are noticing.

Thank you for all that responded! I am new to this site and I feel like I already have allies. My mother's feet were very swollen and she is awful when comes to taking meds. She was on morphine for a while and just recently lost her hearing in one ear and part of the other. She keeps blaming it on the morphine. That's when they switched to Prednisone 20mg. One day at a time!
