How is she getting nutrition? Being unable to swallow is often part of the very late stages of dementia. Is she on hospice care? What kind of meds are you trying to give her?

Can you use a syringe and slowly squirt it in the back of her cheek? Slightly tilt her head back.

Does she swallow when she eats? Can the medicine be mixed with applesauce or pudding so that she has to swallow it with the "treat"?
