Mom who cannot walk or stand wants to sign herself out of rehab. I work 12 hours days and my mother who is in rehab is being release on Dec. 29, 2014. Because she will not sign up for Medicaid. What are my options?

Court Order. Call the Social Worker and ask them to step in for protective custody ASAP.

Call the Social Worker and make sure she understands that there is no one athome to care for her.

Since she can't stand or walk where does she think she's going to be going when she signs out?

Definitely get in touch with the facility's social worker.

Do you have POA? If you have POA you can apply for Medicaid on her behalf.
