I'm enrolling my husband for a medicare drug plan. He isn't on any medication but occasionally he needs an inhaler for his asthma. Looking for something with a low deductible but don't want to pay a high monthly fee since he isn't on any medication. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Talk with a Medicare insurance broker, they can help you find the cheapest plan for your husband.

Remember insurance is our bet that we are covered in the event that we need medical care. They hope we don't ever use it. So keep the what ifs in mind when reviewing options.

My dad is on a bunch of meds and he pay 30.00 monthly for his premiums and the 185.00 deductible that everyone pays annually. So you will probably be paying for his inhaler no matter what you choose.

Watch out though. The broker may suggest a Medicare Advantage because prescription plans are included. But they are a Network provider meaning u use there doctor's. They are Medicare approved and are suppose to comply to Medicare criteria but I have shide away from them.
