Does Medicare pay for medical alert devices?

Traditional Medicare does NOT pay for medical alert devices. Some of the Medicare Advantage plans do. You would need to contact the insurance company directly as each one has different things that they cover. Even if they pay for device, not all of them will pay for monthly monitoring.
