90 year old Mother-in-law is living in our home and is going to run out of money to pay for her in-home girls to provide care for her while my husband and I both work. Does medicare pay for nursing care or cover costs of people to stay with her during the day and night so we can continue sleeping and working. We cannot afford to do both her care and work too.

No, Medicare won't, but if she was married to a wartime veteran, VA will. The VA provides "Aid & Attendance" to surviving spouses for doctor ordered care. In some states, Medicaid waivers are available for folks who are keeping their parents out of a nursing home setting. Go up to the Money and Legal tab and click on Paying for Care.
