Find Care & Housing
I have no experience in NJ but the recertification process should circumstances relatively simple. Medicaid is approved in as 12 month cycle. The basic idea is to again review the circumstances of the recipient to see if there are any changes that would lead to not being recertified for the next cycle. Just fill out the papers and send them in. Read the instructions carefully, and if it says to send in verification for something, do it to keep the process moving along in a timely manner. The kinds of things that are likely to change and require current proof are income and assets. What doesn't change and doesn't require reverification is citizenship status and proof of identity. Always keep a copy of what you send in.
