Is there a program within Medicaid that would help pay for a service that would help me with the housework and shopping?

I'm almost 50 & my health is bad because of back problems, problems with arthritis in my shoulders & since my surgery I am not supposed to lift anything over 10 pounds. But sometimes, especially with shopping, I have no choice. There was a lady who came by a couple of times but I can't remember from what company she was representing, I think it was Angel Ministeries! But I've searched online for information about them but they don't have what qualifications I would need to meet!

I beleive with Medicaid you would need to meet a certain number of ADL's(Activities of Daily Living) to meet their qualifications. Call your local Medicaid or health department and they would be able to assist you with this question. You may also need a referral from your family doctor to receive their assistance.
