The other state treatments that I have been to have not helped me in my recovery the way I believe a Native American treatment will. Nobody knows me better than me well besides the Creator.

NativeRehab, you would have to reapply for Medicaid in your new state. Medicaid is administered through the states. You would have to establish residency in the new state and then apply there.

Which tribe are you with? I hope you find peace in your new rehab. The Great Spirit will lead you to the right place for you. Good thoughts coming your way.

There is something else I considered. Tribes are sovereign, so if you are a member you need to speak to someone about your tribal affairs to see what is available for you. There are health programs that are separate from those off the reservations. I do not know much about them, so you would need to ask people who do know.

Health care for American Indians and Alaska Natives is through the Indian Health Service www.ihs.gov. Some states have special programs run through their land grant universities. I've heard the system ranges from not good to great depending on which state you live in. I'm so sorry. It's very unfair.
