I've been on a wild goosechase around the internet for answers and keep coming up empty handed. Will Medicaid cover braces in Illinois or no?

Do you mean orthodontic braces? Some States' Child Medicaid programs (Chips) sometimes cover medically - indicated orthodontic treatment. You'd really need to call the State Medicaid office to find out.

Dental braces, no. Leg braces, back braces, etc., probably.
