She has meds but her levels are at 58. She is 65 been hospitalized a few times for high ammonia levels also has hep c. I want to know how i can help her keep those levels down upon release levels are 58

There isn't much you can do as a non-medical person except maybe to cut back on meat and give more water. You know that hep C can be treated now, don't you? There is a new drug that is giving very good results. I had a friend that got his virus-free result last weekend. Yea! We also had a group member on AC that had good results. Talk to the doctor to see if she might qualify. Her health may be too poor to tolerate the drug.
