in melbourne, FL. She refuses to take her meds consistently, and has major issues with incontinence. Both myself and brother live 1000 miles away. I think she would prefer to stay in her condo as long as possible, so we need to bring in help I guess. She gets depressed easily, and has diabetes and high blood pressure, and deals with Afib.

Talk to her doctor first, if she is refusing medications, hiring someone will not fix the problem of refusal. If she also has depression and A-fib she will require care from a trained professional, such as a visiting nurse.
