Is there a list of acronyms that are used?

WyoNana, funny! I would never have thought of it as Saturday Nite Live because I've never watched that show.... Whenever I saw SNF, I would think "Snafu".

I don't recall seeing MC used a lot a few years ago.

First words that popped in my head - MasterCard.... then tried to brainstorm... finally decided to hit the link from AgingCCM. I wasn't even close...

So, FF where did you think elders were moving to MC?

WyoNana, i know what you mean. When I first came onto the forum and saw IL, NH, and AL, I honestly thought why are elders all moving to Illinois, New Hampshire, and Alabama???

AL = Assisted Living
Alz = Alzheimers
UTI - Urinary Tract Infection
POA = Power of Attorney
DPOA = Durable Power of Attorney
