Find Care & Housing
I found a service in the South Florida area who visits my parents as often as I like. They're my eyes and ears. I find comfort in them becuz I know my parents are doing ok.They even helped them fill out the Medicaid form and that helped them alot becuz they're on a tight budget.

US - Watching your parents go through major changes like this is very traumatic. I often find myself wondering just how much more my mom can take. All I can do is work to ensure she feels loved and has the best quality of life possible. That means we do little things for her - take in apple pie and coffee, ensure she's got an ample stash of her favorite cookies and crossword puzzles and take her flowers from her own garden at home. She's also 90 so there is no chance she'll live in her own home again. Her little body is just not keeping up with her mind. It's heart breaking to watch but I'd rather that my heart break at her decline than ignore her and make her feel isolated and alone.
